If there's not enough room with the sissy bar on and you take it off she will tend to move back more. Since there no sissy bar to keep her from sitting back to far and fallign off, I wouldn't take it off. I would take the girlfriend off. Get her own bike and ride beside you. Once she rides she won't want to be a passenger again.
